2024 marked our 20th year as a company - a milestone we’re truly proud of. It all started in 2004 when a group of friends set out to shake up the coffee world. Fast forward two decades, and our big little coffee roastery has grown, evolved, and taken new paths more than a few times. People have come, gone, and sometimes come back again. Yet here we are, 20 years later, still fuelled by our shared love for coffee, this incredible industry, and the belief that everyone deserves to drink better coffee.
To celebrate, we made 2024 a year to remember. We launched a Birthday Espresso, made with coffees from five of our longest-standing producer friends. Every month on the 20th, we offered filter coffee for just 20 kr at our coffee bar and added some special deals in our webshop. In September, we threw a big birthday party at the roastery, inviting everyone who’s been part of our journey to celebrate with us.
The year was full of highlights! We roasted some amazing coffees for our Farmers and Prime series, including the unforgettable Geisha Trio from Graciano Cruz. Our tea brand, Dear Tea Society, launched new products in the retail line and is cooking up exciting plans for cafés and restaurants in the new year.
We joined the Nordic Coffee Fest, connecting with coffee lovers and fellow enthusiasts across the Nordics. On top of that, we had fun with our One Cup Drip Kit, taking it everywhere from icy waters to Arlanda airport. Our Christmas coffee got a fresh new look, and the coffee bar on Swedenborgsgatan got some pretty paint.
We had two inspiring days with our customers at the roastery - one in the spring focused on teas and another in the autumn where we took a deep dive into coffee. We caffeinated the Stockholm International Film Festival, served coffee from the KaffeBuzz, played golf with Frantzén and trained over 100 baristas and coffee lovers through our B2B and private courses. Lastly, we poured thousands of cups of coffee at our coffee bars.
2024 was wild, exhausting, and downright amazing.
