Brew Guide: Hario Cold Brew Bottle

Cold Brew, a cold brewing method that has exploded in popularity in recent years, offers a wonderfully refreshing drink that's surprisingly simple to make at home. With just a little patience during its 8-12 hour brewing time, you'll be rewarded with a smooth and refreshing beverage.

  • 55 g coffee
  • 750 g cold water

  1. Use a Hario cold brew bottle for optimal results.
  2. Grind the coffee beans coarsely if using whole beans – our preferred method for the best flavour. However, Cold Brew is forgiving, so pre-ground coffee will work if needed.
  3. Place the coffee in the filter and attach the filter to the lid.
  4. Fill the bottle with water, through the filter.
  5. Securely screw the lid and let it steep in the refrigerator for 8 - 12 hours.
  6. When the brew is done, remove the filter containing the coffee grounds.
  7. Serve the Cold Brew in glasses over ice cubes for a refreshing treat, and add a dash of any sort of milk of you wish.
