There’s something beautifully indulgent about a Matcha Latte. It’s where centuries-old tea tradition meets modern comfort – silky, creamy, and softly green.
You’ll need:
- 1,5 g Modest Matcha
- 10 g cold water (optional, to reduce lumps)
- 30 g hot water (approx. 80 °C)
- 150 g milk of any kind – oat is our favourite
- Chasen whisk
- Steam wand
Method:
- Prep your matcha – Add 1,5 g matcha directly to the cup you’ll serve in. Pour in 10 g cold water (optional) and mix to a smooth paste. Add 30 g of hot water and whisk with the chasen in a quick W-motion until frothy.
- Steam the milk – Use your espresso machine’s steam wand to steam the milk until it’s steamy and foamy.
- Assemble the drink – Top the matcha with the steamed milk and finish with your choice of art.
