Recipe: Flash Brew Coffee

Iced coffee, or flash brew as it is also called, is both super easy and super delicious to make - if you know how to do it! Here we have our best recipe that works great with any brewing method. Even the electric coffee maker!

  • 30 g coffee - here are some that we think work really well!
  • 250 g water
  • 250 g ice
  • Ice for serving
  1. Use you preferred hand brew method - find a new favourite here!
  2. Grind the coffee to the right grind size if using whole beans - which is always our recommendation, but if you want ground coffee, you can find it here.
  3. Fill the coffee pot with ice and place the filter holder on top
  4. Place a paper filter and add the ground coffee to the filter
  5. Boil the water and pour 90 g over the coffee to begin with (bloom the coffee), let it rest for 30 seconds
  6. Pour the rest of the water in a circular motion
  7. The coffee has now been brewed directly onto the ice and cooled immediately while diluting to the perfect flavour
  8. Serve in a glass with ice and enjoy
